Admission Information
The Department of English offers a four-year B.A. in English with a focus on literature, language and communication. Admission is open for the Summer and Spring semesters.
Eligibility Requirements
Selection is based on previous academic records and performance in the admission test. Accepted applicants are notified and complete registration by the stated date, submitting original certificates/testimonials and mark sheets/transcripts and paying the required fees.
Published entry requirements in the supplied syllabus:
Bangladesh curriculum: minimum second division or GPA 2.5 in both SSC and HSC, with an average of 2.5; applicants may come from Science, Humanities, Social Science, or Commerce.
O/A levels: 5 O-level subjects and 2 A-level subjects; minimum GPA 4.00 in four subjects and GPA 3.5 in three subjects.
