Convocation is the ceremony at which the university confers its degrees. Graduates of every faculty are presented to the Chancellor, receive their certificates in person, and are admitted formally to the body of alumni of NPI University of Bangladesh.
Who takes part
Every student who has completed the requirements of their programme and whose results have been approved by the Academic Council is eligible to attend. Registration opens ahead of each ceremony and is announced on the Notices page.
Academic dress
Graduands wear the gown and hood of their degree, which the university issues on the day. Details of collection and return are sent to each registered graduand.
Guests
Each graduand may bring guests, subject to the capacity of the venue. Guest passes are issued with the graduand’s own registration.
